Following a safety briefing, you will learn basic infantry skills from former Army instructors, using the MoD infra-red beam training system, codename 'Headhunter' and you will undertake a number of true life manoeuvres which will test and develop the infantry skills learned. Virtual Soldiers will then be armed with an SA80 rifle, which fires an invisible and safe beam at the same velocity as a 5.56mm bullet, and thrown into the fight. Enemy troops are eliminated by hitting sensors located in their helmet and rigging, which will sound an alarm and render their weapons inoperable.
